Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) was constituted in the year 2001. MANET’s primary objective is to train cadets and transform them into valuable assets for the Merchant Navy sector. Since the time of its inception, MANET has won many awards & accolades. MANET has received CIP Grade (Very Good) rating by INDIAN REGISTER OF SHIPPING (IRS). The Devang Mehta Foundation awarded MANET with the “Education Leadership Award” in 2014, and additionally, ABP news recognized our academy as the “Best Maritime Training Institute” in 2015.

- MANET hosts well-equipped laboratories and a library with vast collection of books and ample magazines journals and E-books.

◼ 12th Pass with PCM or equivalent vocational course and with minimum 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th or Diploma or Degree level.
◼ Passed 3 Years Diploma with 60% marks or 4 Years Degree including lateral entry with 50% marks in Electrical Electronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.
◼ Medical fitness by DG approved doctors
